Simple mexican rice (Rice cooker)

Procedure

Rinse rice as per rice cooker instructions, changing water until its clear (or close to it). Drain water once done.

Add salt, cumin, garlic powder, dried onion flakes, mexicaaan sofrito, and oil. Combine all with spoon.

Add water as per rice cooker instructions. Mix thoroughly and start cooking on long grain setting.

Once done, fluff it a bit and serve warm.

Ingredients

1 cup Long grain white rice
3 g Salt
0.5 g Cumin
2 g Garlic powder
2 g Dried onion flakes
30 g Mexican sofrito 1½ tbsp
25 g Oil 2 tbsp
Water filled to correct rice cooker level
