Veggie Stew


In the pan fry onions and sliced peppers until golden. Add shredded carrot and just sweat it for 2-3 minutes. Sprinkle with flour and mix until completely dry.

Add broth, same amount of water, small pieces of potatoes (2 cm cube), and spices. Simmer for 1:30 hours. If water level goes low, add some more.

Add mushrooms. Cook for additional 15 minutes.

Add wine. Cook for 15 minutes


1 Large onion
1 Pepper
1 Large carrot
1 kg Potatoes
250 g Mushrooms
1 l Vegetable broth or water
2 cloves Garlic
3 tbsp Flour
1 dcl Red wine Yellow Tail Cabarnet Sauvignon
18 g Salt
3 g Black pepper
2 Bailey leafs
dash Cayenne powder

For non-veggie variant, replace half of potatoes for meat (beer or pork works best). Don’t forget to brown it before adding!
