This will serve 4 persons, about 2-3 teganites per portion.


Mix flour, salt, and water together until you get a smooth mixture (2-3 minutes). Add honey to the mixture and mix some more. Leave covered for 1 hour (or less if flour is fresh).

To the pan, add oil to fully cover the bottom. Heat pan to a slightly above medium (5½ mark on an electric stove). Dollop the mixture into a hot pan (1 or two spoons per portion) and fry until you see edge browning (about 2 minutes). Turn over and fry until done. If needed, you can turn it multiple times. The final result should be nicely caramelized on both sides. Place on a paper towel to drain.

Serve warm with some extra honey dripped on top.

2 tbsp Honey + some extra for decoration
¼ tsp Salt
