Lazy Bread


Mix warm water and yeast together and leave on side for about 5-10 minutes.

Mix flour and salt. Once combined pour into warm water with yeast and combine. Leave covered with fabric for 12-16 hours.

Preheat the oven to 210 °C (410 °F).

Place parchment paper into the baking sheet, gently flour it, and pour bread mixture on top. Sprinkle with coarse salt and rosemary (optional). Tap gently with wet hands so it sticks.

Place it into preheated oven and bake for 20 minutes. Once done, turn on broil for 5 minutes.


500 g Bread flour 4 cups
450 ml Warm Water 2 cups
16 g Salt 3 tsp
1.5 g Dry yeast ¼ tsp
Coarse salt
